GM 4L80E
This is a Professionally Rebuilt and Updated 4L80E/85E Automatic Transmission that will work behind 1991-2007 4.3L V6, 5.0L V8, 5.3L V8, 5.7L 350 V8, 6.0L V8,6.5L V8, 7.4L V8, 8.1L V8 or other GM, Chevy and GMC applications. Used in such models as C/K 1500, 2500, 3500 Avalanche, Blazer, H1 Hummer, Silverado Sierra, Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon, Savanna, Vandura, Full Size Vans and many more. All transmissions come with a 1 Year Unlimited Mile Warranty with the purchase of a new torque converter. This transmission contains High Quality Borg Warner high-energy commercial frictions used in the Direct Forward, and Intermediate clutch packs (all exceed OEM Quality); all new clutches, new pump, tail and other bushings; new gaskets, internal and external seals and metal clad seals; New TransGo valve body spacer plate; New Molded Pistons; Also included is the Sonnax Actuator Feed Limit Valve #34300-16K, which requires a special reaming tool, that re-bores worn out aluminum 4L80E valve bodies which is typically an issue when time for a rebuild, and allows installation of this special high quality valve and sleeve, that lists for $50 dollars alone. This problem is the NUMBER ONE most overlooked issue by other rebuilders. One indicator of this issue is the 2nd gear starts, 3rd neutral condition, no 4th gear, codes 68, 85, 86, and 87 and direct clutch breakage. The OEM actuator feed limit (AFL) valve has a large reaction area and is greatly affected by side loading, which wears the valve body bore. The EPC solenoid oscillates the torque signal and AFL oil, which increases valve action. As bore wear increases, oil pressure is reduced to the shift solenoids, which causes solenoid and ratio codes. The same AFL oil loss results in lower line pressure. If this valve is not installed, even after a rebuild transmission can have these issues and can lead to transmission failure. We also update the Boost Valve with a Sonnax Boost Valve. Common problems in OEM 4L80-E transmission include uncontrollable line rise (upward of 500 psi), high line pressure in reverse, broken direct clutch drums and/or broken cases. These problems can be caused by excessive EPC torque signal pressure. The Sonnax self-regulating reverse boost valve 34200-10K eliminates these problems by limiting EPC pressure. We have a many different models of the 4L80E and 4L85E transmission available. I also have many options for upgrades available, or custom high performance applications options, email us for details. If you are not sure of what you have just email us with the year make and model 2WD, 4WD.
We also have Torque Converters available for $200-250
Buyer is required to swap a GOOD CORE (no hard part damage) for this
trans otherwise there will be a $350.00-$800.00 core charge in addition to the
above price. Core must be inspected for hard part damage and if such damage
exists IT MUST BE PAID FOR at the time of the swap, or deducted from the core
charge.
